Bill Browder was born this date in 1944 in Humboldt, Tennessee.  Who, you say?  Well, his stage name was T.G. Sheppard and he recorded such hits as "Slow Burn" and "Only One You".

Another singer, this name more well known, Kim Carnes, was born this date in Pasadena, California in 1946.

In 1968, "Folsom Prison Blues" is the #1 Billboard country single for Johnny Cash.

Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" is #1 on the Billboard chart in 2002.

And in 2012, Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) and his wife, Allison, have a son, Dylan Jay DeMarcus.
