Greetings, country music fans!

Happy birthday to Kimberly Perry, born July 12, 1983 in Jackson, Mississippi.  Kimberly and her brothers formed "The Band Perry".  The siblings were named Country Music Association's New Artist of the Year in 2011.  Kimberly also won Song of the Year for writing "If I  Die Young".

Songwriter Randy McCormick was born in 1952 in Rogersville, Alabama.  Randy penned hits including Eddie Rabbitt's "Suspicions" and "Crazy in Love" by Conway Twitty.  He is also an accomplished keyboardist.

In 2013, Jason Aldean headlined a concert at Fenway Park in Boston, the first country music headliner at Fenway.  Also performing were Jake Owen and Miranda Lambert.
