Country Music History January 13

Good Wednesday to you, KFIL and country music fans!

Birthday wishes go out today to super-singer Trace Adkins who was born January 13, 1962 in Springhill, Louisiana.  Trace has a host of hits including "Every Light In The House Is On", "Arlington", and "Ladies Love Country Boys"...yes, we do!

"It Ain't Nothin'" by Keith Whitley is #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in 1990.  In 1996, the #1 song is "It Matters To Me" by Faith Hill.

And in 2012 while skiing in Colorado, Jake Owen broke his collarbone.  Several concert dates had to be cancelled due to his injury.
