Country Music History February 14

Happy Valentine's Day!  The ultimate celebration of love took place February 14, 2002 in Newport News, Virginia.  In a huge ceremony, 40 couples were united in marriage.  For their first dance as a married couple, they were treated to Steve Holy singing his hit "Good Morning Beautiful".  How romantic!

Ohhhh..not a good thing to discover on Valentine's Day.  In 1981, Charly McClain's  "Who's Cheatin' Who?" is #1 on the Billboard country chart.

And in 1967, Eddy Arnold is invited to attend a dinner at the White House in Washington, D.C. with the first family.  Eddy is almost late to dinner because he got stuck in an elevator.
