"On the wings of a snow white dove"....today is the birthday of Ferlin Husky born in 1927 in Flat River, Missouri.  Country Music Hall of Fame Member, Husky is probably best known for his "Wings Of A Dove".

Checking the Billboard charts for today, the number 1 single in 2005 is "Come A Little Closer" by Dierks Bentley.  Quite fitting for today, "A Little Good News" by Anne Murray is #1 in 1983.  And the awesome Dolly Parton holds the #1 position in 1977 with "Here You Come Again".
