Country Music History December 19

Country Music Hall of Fame member, Little Jimmy Dickens, was born December 19, 1920 in West Virginia.

Looking at the Billboard charts, "She's Got The Rhythm And I Got the Blues" by Alan Jackson was #1 in 1992.  Loretta Lynn's signature song "Coal Miner's Daughter" reached #1 in 1970.

In 1955, "Blue Suede Shoes" was recorded by Carl Perkins.  And in 2005 "Tough All Over" earned a gold album for Gary Allan.
