Well, I find this quite interesting.  December 15, 1944, Hank Williams married Audrey Guy at a gas station in Andalusia, Alabama.  My father was born and raised in Andalusia; wonder if he saw them when they were in town.  And isn't a gas station a strange place to tie the knot?!  It seems a lot of country music stars get married in the winter time.  Alan Jackson and Denise Jackson (her maiden name also being Jackson) were married in Georgia in 1979.

The very talented Naomi Judd received her nursing degree from California College of Marin in 1977.

On the Billboard charts, in 1984 the #1 single is "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" by Dave Loggins and Anne Murray.  In 2000, receiving quintuple-platinum status is Faith Hill's "Breathe" album.
