"In The Jailhouse Now" singer Webb Pierce was born August 8, 1921 in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Pierce was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.  His "The Last Waltz" is a classic!

Mel Tillis was born in Pahokee, Florida in 1932.  Although exhibiting a pronounced stutter when speaking, Mel can sing like no other.  His most popular song is probably "Coca Cola Cowboy".

"19 Somethin'" singer, Mark Wills was born in Cleveland, Tennessee in 1973.

Writer of great hits like "Man To Man"  and "As Long as I'm Rockin' With You", Jamie O'Hara was born in 1950 in Toledo, Ohio.

Founding member of the awesome Statler Brothers, Phil Balsley was born in Staunton, Virginia in 1939.

In 1975, Hank Williams, Jr., was mountain climbing in Montana, hit his head on several jutting rocks and fell 500 feet.  It took over five hours for medics to reach Williams and transport him to hospital.

And finally, in 1998 Bryan White proposed to Erika Page.  Erika is an actress on the TV soap "One Life to Live".
