Country Music History August 4

Happy Thursday, country music fans!

August 4, 1963 Craig Wiseman was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Wiseman is a very talented songwriter and his credits include "Live Like You Were Dying", "Summertime" recorded by Kenny Chesney, and "Boys 'Round Here".

In 1981, Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White were married.

Brooks & Dunn received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008.

And in 1984 "Mama He's Crazy" by The Judds was #1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart.
