There are some big names in country music celebrating birthdays today!

First and foremost, Eileen Edwards.  No, not me folks.  You know this Eileen better as Shania Twain, who was born in 1965 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  Shania has a long list of hits to her credit including "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" and "That Don't Impress Me Much".  She was named CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1999.

"Barefoot Blue Jean Night" singer, Jake Owen, was born in 1981 in  Winter Haven, Florida.  In 2009, Owen was named Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist.

LeAnn Rimes was born in 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi.  At the very young age of 13, LeAnn had her first hit with "Blue".  Her string of hits includes "How Do I Live" and "I Need You".

Winner of the third season of "The Voice" as a member of Blake Shelton's team, Cassadee Pope was born in 1989 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

And finally, in 1968, Miss Tammy Wynette wrote and recorded her mega-hit "Stand By Your Man" at Nashville's Columbia Recording Studio.
