Country Music History August 17

Good Wednesday to you, KFIL friends and fans!  A great song by country music legends was #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in 1985 - "Highwayman" by Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson.

One of The Swon Brothers, Colton Swon, was born in 1988 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  The Swon Brothers were performers on "The Voice" and had their first hit in 2014 with "Later On".

Florida Georgia Line made their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2012 and sang "Cruise".
