Hey Hey Hey.....it's finally Friday!   Our last installment of Country Music History before the weekend.

He's just a good ole boy!  "The Dukes of Hazzard" John Schneider was born April 8, 1960 in Mount Kisco, New York.  After his stint on "Hazzard", John tried his hand at a country music career with a couple of top ten hits including "I've Been Around Enough To Know".

Trying his hand at acting, country music giant Kenny Rogers portrays Brady Hawkes in the made for TV movie "The Gambler", based on Kenny's hit song.  The movie first aired April 8, 1980.

"I'm No Stranger To The Rain" by Keith Whitley held the #1 spot on the Billboard country singles chart in 1989.  And "What Hurts The Most" by Rascal Flatts was #1 in 2006.
