Country Music History April 29

Good Friday, country music fans!

April 29, 1943 is the birth date of singer Duane Allen, born in Taylortown, Texas.  Allen is a member of Country Music Hall of Fame members, the Oak Ridge Boys.

Born in 1977, songwriter Ashley Gorley.  Gorley is the songwriter behind such hits as "Good Girl" by Carrie Underwood and "American Saturday Night" by Brad Paisley.
