Country Music History April 18

A fine Monday it is, country music fans!

Sawyer Brown band member, Jim Scholten was born April 18, 1952.

A couple of really great songs by outstanding artists highlight the Billboard country singles charts.  In 1992, Aaron Tippin lands on the #1 spot for the first time of his career with "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With The Radio".  Alabama and "Old Flame" hold the number one spot in 1981.

Country hottie Dierks Bentley made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2003.

And in 2014, a very touching documentary, "Glen Campbell...I'll Be Me", outlining Campbell's Alzheimer's disease, is debuted at the Nashville Film Festival.
