Zookeepers at the Como Zoo released penguins into the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory to roam around while the zoo and conservatory are closed.

Many other zoos have done this, and Como Zoo has caught on! The African black-footed penguins were carried over to the conservatory in little carriers and release to check this out while there are no visitors there.

The penguins had a great time checking out the flowers and trails in the conservatory. Check out the video from the Star Tribune Facebook page:
