Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The City of Rochester is taking the next steps in the reopening of in-person services beginning the week of April 5, 2021.

According to a press release from the City of Rochester, the City Council will meet at 6 p.m. beginning on April 5th and will continue at the time until further notice. Other changes include:

  • Study Sessions will occur on April 12, 19, and 26 at 3:30 p.m.
  • Study Sessions will return to their weekly schedule beginning on May 3. (No meeting on May 30 due to the Memorial Day holiday.)

City Council meetings will continue remotely during the month of April. Agendas, details on viewing options, and instructions on how to submit public comments are available at www.rochestermn.gov/agendas.

Beginning on April 5th, City Hall, Development Services & Infrastructure Center and the Rochester Public Utility Service Center will be open for in-person service Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then beginning on May 3rd City Hall, Development Services & Infrastructure Center and the Rochester Public Utility Service Center will be open for in-person service Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The press release also noted that all of the city services remain fully functional, and community members are still strongly encouraged to use the phone and online tools available whenever possible. For those community members that do visit a city facility, masks, and social distancing are required.
