Fairy-tale lovers of all ages filled the Potter Auditorium in Chatfield Thursday evening for the Wits' End Theatre production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella".  I spotted grandmas, teachers, friends, little girls in princess dresses, and even one sweet pipsqueak in a Minnie Mouse outfit.  I think all would agree that "Cinderella" was amazing!  When Cinderella's carriage appeared on stage, there were gasps from the audience.  How clever were the horses pulling the carriage!  And the wicked step-sisters (Rachel Chase, Chelsey O'Connor)!  You definitely want those two on your good side!  Lionel (Mitch Gibson), fairy godmother (Samantha Gibson), controlling step-mother (Elizabeth Fuglestad), all gave stellar performances.  Of course, Cinderella and her Prince, (Mariya Maragos, Tyler Simpson) were outstanding!  The entire cast and crew put on a production worthy of rousing applause and a standing ovation.  You still have time to catch "Cinderella" Friday night and Saturday afternoon at Wits' End Theatre.  But hurry...tickets are selling out fast.  In fact, they broke their ticket sales record!  Thank you, Wits' End Theatre, for a very lovely night.  (I apologize for the clarity of the photo, but everyone was clamoring to have their photo taken with the newlyweds!)
