Hey Happy Friday!  Three country music birthdays of note today:

B. J. Thomas was born this date in 1942 in Hugo, Oklahoma. 

In Houston, Texas in 1950, Rodney Crowell was  born.  The very talented Crowell not only sings, but also writes for Waylon Jennings, Tim McGraw and others. 

Felice Bryant was born in 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Felice and her husband, Boudleaux, wrote such hits as "Rocky Top" by the Osborne Brothers. 

In 1961, "I Fall To Pieces" by Patsy Cline is #1 on the Billboard chart.

It's Garth Brooks Day in New York City in 1997.  Garth gives a free concert in Central Park with guests Don McLean and Billy Joel.
