Bartz Brothers Finish Their Snow Sculpture in Their Front Yard in Minnesota
A few weeks ago the cat was out of the bag that the Bartz Brothers were once again building a sculpture in their front yard. They had said in a live video that this year's sculpture was going to be a whale! This weekend the brother revealed the final product. According to WCCO they call it "Walvis the Whale."
The brothers posted this picture of the final product this weekend.
Walvis is 22 feet tall and 63 feet wide. They said in an article if they had to guess, the brothers spent around 600 hours creating their friend and they believe that he weighs around 260,000 pounds. They came up with this estimation based on how many trucks of snow they had to bring in.
If you would like to check out the creation, the sculpture is in New Brighton, Minnesota. They invite you to stop by and take a selfie with their creations. The brothers have gotten a little more creative this year and even added a smoke machine to their creation. If someone donates $25 to their charity, the boys will set off their smoke machine. The money they received will go to help provide clean water to folks in Niger and Uganda. If you wish to help out their charity, you can do so here.
It's really fun to see what they come up with every year!
