This morning was a shock for me. I was sitting on my couch, drinking my coffee, and then...I saw it. I may or may not have started screaming the word "SNOW!"...and not in a good way. Even my dog, a St. Bernard who loves snow, wasn't too sure what was happening.
30 Reasons Why Winter is the Most Hated Season in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin
A lot of emotions streamed through my body thanks to the latest precipitation flying through the air. There was a brief moment of joy that appeared and then I realized I had to walk outside...in the cold...and sit in my car that was also cold. Yuck! Driving home from work was just ridiculous and at one point, I started sliding at a stoplight. My vehicle just sat there and the tires started to spin as I was trying to move when the green light appeared. Thankfully I didn't get into an accident but unfortunately, there were many on our Minnesota roadways today.
I did trying to convince myself over and over, that I love winter. The truth is that I don't. I'm not sure if hate is the exact word for my hardcore feelings for this season and the weather but I do know that being in a place where my nose hairs freeze is not the ideal spot for me.
When I shared my lack of love for this season during my radio show today, I found out that I wasn't the only one in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin who despised winter. I know because people told me what they hated the most.
