WinterFest is...as I would describe...when everyone in the Southeast Minnesota area bundles up for a few weeks and ventures out to see familiar faces, be part of some fun activities (inside and outside) and just enjoy the state that we live in.  I also heard the word "bacon" and knew that I would have to dig into this event just a bit more...maybe do some taste tests.  ;)

You may not know this, but I have biked over 70 miles in a day just for bacon...twice.  Those days were bacon paradises.  Bacon ice cream, bacon cookies, bacon sliders - the list really is quite long.  I also grew up in the good ol' state of I-O-W-A so I basically had a pig at every meal growing up.  Bacon = Jessica

WinterFest XVI is January 18th until February 18, 2018, and a full month of activities are planned for you, including Baconfest!  Pretty sure this event is probably my favorite.  Check out the info below from WinterFests' website:
