Over the weekend, an orchard in Southeast Minnesota for 42 years announced that they are now closed.

Apple Ridge Orchard & Vineyard, located in Mazeppa, announced on their Facebook page and website a message to all of their customers:

Closed for Retirement:

After 42 years of welcoming customers at Apple Ridge Orchard & Vineyard, we are closing the orchard & happily retiring here. Our grandchildren are excited!

We want to thank you for 42 years of inspiration & fun! It’s been a pleasure.

Thank you!

This was such a fun orchard to explore!  They had several corn mazes, wagon rides, alpacas, and fresh caramel apples.  It was an amazing place to create those fall memories in Minnesota, take photos, and pick out the perfect pumpkin.

Thank you for providing a place where our memories could be captured.  Enjoy your retirement and those grandkids!
