A Minnesota Pet Could Be In the Cadbury Egg Commercial this Easter
Have you ever seen this commercial before? It's an iconic one that rolls around every Easter.
The Iconic Cadbury Bunny commercial has been around for about 30 years. Last year, the company decided that they would do a casting call to find a new pet to be featured in the commercial according to CISION PR Newswire. Heri the Bulldog was the lucky winner last year and he did such a great job, Cadbury has decided to do another casting call this year.
That means a pet from Minnesota could be featured in the commercial this year. The company is accepting applications from now until February 24th. The catch this year... America will be choosing the pet that will be in the commercial. The article says a panel of judges will narrow it down to the top 10 pets, then we will have our opportunity to pick our favorite. More on that to come in the future.
The application process is super simple. You go to the Cadbury website and fill out the application form. You can get the form by clicking here. You then need to submit a picture of your pet with a little more information.
Last year there were around 4,000 entries and they are expecting quite a few more this year. There is a prize involved. The grand prize winner will get $5,000 and be featured in the commercial. Cadbury will also make a donation to of $10,000 to The American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The site says that we should know a winner by March 19th. Good luck and hopefully an animal from Minnesota gets picked.
