12 Year Prison in Rochester Sexual Assault Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for a sexual assault conviction.
27-year-old Xanth Wilkins was sentenced after he entered into a plea agreement Wednesday and admitted to a 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dropped another 1st-degree charge against Wilkins.
He was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while restraining her holding a mask over her face which restricted her breathing. Court records the charges were filed against Wilkins in May of this year.
