Minnesota Vikings Player Coming to Town Next Week
Guess which Minnesota Viking will be in town next week? If you were a betting person, you'd probably put money down that the answer to this question is Marcus Sherels. After all, he's a Viking, he's from Rochester and it's not unusual to see him around town on occasion - especially during the off-season.
In this instance, however, you'd be wrong. It turns out that Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson will be in town next Tuesday, December 1. Johnson will be doing a meet-and-greet at the new Hy-Vee on West Circle Drive that day, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
According to the event Facebook page, "One item per person will be signed. A player card will be provided if you don't have an item."
Charles Johnson is in his third year in the NFL, and second with the Vikings. Last season, Johnson played in 12 games, making 31 catches for 475 yards and two touchdowns.
So far this season, he's appeared in eight games and has 9 receptions for 127 yards.
