Happy birthday to Miley Cyrus, born November 23, 1992.  Miley's given name is Destiny Hope Cyrus.

The Billboard chart in 1968 showed Tammy Wynette and "Stand By Your Man" at the #1 spot.  And in 1996, it was Deanna Carter and "Strawberry Wine".

Country Music Hall of Fame member, Roy Acuff, died in 1992 from congestive heart failure.

The Macy's Thanksgiving parade in 2000 featured several country artists including Kenny Chesney, Jo Dee Messina and Rascal Flatts.

And in 2006 at Texas Stadium during a Thanksgiving Day game, Carrie Underwood performed during the halftime show singing "Before He Cheats".
