Barbara's sister, Louise Mandrell, was born this date in 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Back in 1908, Tim Spencer was born in Webb City, Missouri.  Spencer was one of the original Sons of the Pioneers, recording such hits as "Cool Water" and Tumbling Tumbleweeds".
