What are the odds?

How many times have you scratched your head and said "what are the odds"?  Well, the folks at Old Farmer's Almanac wanted to know the answer, so they did a little research and this is what they came up with.  Pretty interesting little tidbits of knowledge.  What are the odds of being afraid of spiders 1 in 4.  Of being born an identical twin 1 in 285.  Of being left-handed 1 in 10.  Of getting food poisoning 1 in 6.  Of being a compulsive shopper 1 in 16, and of bowling a perfect 300 game 1 in 11,500 (you paying attention to this, Bryan Dawson?)  Now you know the odds!  Photo credit iStock.
