
Wabasha Man Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Wabasha man was brought to St. Marys Hospital for treatment last night following a motorcycle crash just west of Wabasha.
The State Patrol report indicates Mayo One responded to the crash site along a winding section of Highway 60 near the top of the bluff leading down to the intersection with Highway 61 at Wabasha. The State Patrol says 34-year-old Michael Hines was coming up the hill when he lost control and crashed into the ditch around 7:30 PM.
His injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Another motorcyclist suffered critical injuries last night in a crash near the Twin Cities.
The State Patrol says 32-year-old Michael Bentfield of Forest Lake was driving a motorcycle north on I-35 near Forest Lake when he lost control and laid down the bike due to weather conditions. The crash report indicates the roadway was wet when the incident occurred shortly after 6 PM.
An update on his medical condition is not available.
