Vikings Schedule Is Out
Last night, the official NFL schedules came out, and it looks to me like the Vikings will be back in the playoffs.
Week One, the Vikings open at home on Monday Night Football! This game will be a 6:00 kickoff, with a Monday Night doubleheader on ESPN. It will be a fun one for sure, against our foes the New Orleans Saints. I am still not over that 2009 season NFC Championship Game.
The next week should be a test of historically prolific defenses against the Steelers. For some reason we play the Bears on a Monday Night game in October again. Late that month I'll have to wake up early to get everything ready to watch the team take on the Browns in London. It will be an 8:30 kickoff.
The wild schedule doesn't end there! The Vikings will play the Lions on Thanksgiving again. Then on Festivus (December 23rd), the Vikings travel to Lambeau Field for a Saturday night "Sunday Night Football" game on NBC. That won't be cold at all.
It looks like a balanced schedule, except for the fact that the Vikings are on the road for most of the second half of the season.
