I think this one should have its own TV series trying to find them.

Everyone is familiar with the movie The Wizard of OZ. Dorothy and her dog Toto get swept up in a tornado and get sent to the Land of Oz. Where she meets the Lion, Scarecrow and Tin-Man.  Following the yellow brick road all the way to OZ.

Remember the scene Dorothy clicks her Ruby Red Slippers together and says "There's no place like home." Those Ruby Red slippers are the unsolved mystery.

Onlyinyourstate.com has one of the biggest mysteries of Minnesota. Those bright red shoes were on loan to the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids Minnesota. Early morning on August 28th in 2005, the slippers were stolen. The only thing left was a little broken glass. No evidence whatsoever of who or why they would steal a piece of movie memorabilia.

Being the slippers that sent Dorothy home, there was a huge investigation to find who did it and bring them back. There was even an anonymous donor to offered a million dollars for information on bringing them back. The investigation literately took them everywhere, even looking in lakes and mine pits.

Just a shame they can't click themselves together and find their way back home. But check out onlyinyourstate.com to read a little more on one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in Minnesota.
