Two-Year-Old And Others Dead In Duluth Alcohol Involved Crash
Duluth, MN (KROC AM News) - A two-year-old girl and two adults are dead after a fatal crash that involved alcohol on I-35 in Duluth early Monday morning.
22-year-old Aaron Dame was driving a Toyota 4Runner north in the southbound lane on I-35 in Duluth when he hit, head-on, a southbound GMC Yukon that was carrying four passengers. Dame was killed in the crash, and it is being reported by the State Patrol that he had some alcohol in his system and did not have his seatbelt on.
Two-year-old Damiah Anne Anderson and 22-year-old Duanda Letrice Robinson of Duluth were also killed, it is unknown if they had their seatbelts on. 22-year-old Arriana Nicole Norling and infant Jajaun Anthony Starks of Minneapolis were injured and transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Dame's passenger, 22-year-old Abigail Kristine Ptasnik, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, her injuries are described as life threatening. She did not have her seatbelt on.
