It is an incredible place. No doubt about it. I remember the first time I walked in the place. Chills down my spine as I looked at the green grass with freshly painted baselines. Beautiful limestone across the stadium and the crack of the bat.

There is nothing better.

Today, I had the chance to do the same thing, except I was ON the field. It was the Twins Radio Fantasy Camp!

As a kid that grew up worshiping the Minnesota Twins, there is nothing that comes close to taking batting practice on the same field as my hometown team. It was pretty incredible. When I came out of the visitor's dugout onto the field, it was like the same feeling except double the number of chills down my spine.

I was also fortunate enough to hang out with our friends from Rochester in Scotty Matthews, Val and Samm Adams! Along with Roy Koeing from Owatonna and Paul Shea from Faribault.

Friends, baseball all at Target Field! It was pretty amazing! Oh yea, Bert gave me bunny ears....if he wasn't in the Hall of Fame maybe I would've said something...Yeah, okay, probably not!

From batting practice at home plate, talking with Twins Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven and taking ground balls from Danny Gladden. It was an experience I can never forget.

Don't forget, you can catch Twins Baseball all season long on 103.1 KFIL!
