On a game rescheduled from Monday afternoon, we had the rescheduled contest on a beautiful Saturday morning. From the box, KFIL called the game, and the Rushford-Peterson Trojans defeated the Mabel-Canton Cougars 6-2.

The Cougars offense got going first, with a one-out base hit by Parker Ingvalson. Courtesy runner Spencer Arnold took second on a passed ball, then Logan Richardson laced a single down the third base line. Arnold reached third on the play with Mike Selness coming to bat. Selness grounded to shortstop, and on a tough ball to possibly turn, everyone moved up. Spencer Arnold came in to make the score 1-0 M-C before Ben Ansell got some swings and misses to end the inning.
