
Traffic Wreck Near Byron Sends Three Teens to St Marys
Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - Three area teenagers were taken to St. Marys Hospital Friday evening after being involved in a traffic wreck.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by 18-year-old Kyle Ziegler of Pine Island was trying to cross Highway 14 between Byron and Kasson around 6:30 PM when it collided with another vehicle.
That car was headed east on Highway 14 and was driven by 36-year-old Luis Semidey of Faribault. He was taken to St. Marys as was Ziegler and two passengers in his car. One was identified as 18-year-old Jeffrey Wiebold of Pine Island. The other was an unidentified 17-year-old female. Her injuries are also unknown. The State Patrol report indicates the other three suffered non-life threatening injuries.
