I don't know if anyone enjoys reading these, but I sure enjoy researching.  I'm not a football or hockey gal, but I love baseball.  Hope you like reading these tidbits as much as I enjoy finding out the trivia.

Today's date in 1959, Henry Aaron received a unanimous vote for the All-Star Game, with the players doing the voting.  He was the first player so selected.

He's a slow learner!  In 1986, San Francisco second baseman Robby Thompson was caught sealing four times, setting a new major league record.  The Giants beat the Reds 7-6 in a 12-inning game.
