Amazon has been seemingly trying everything they can think of to avoid porch pirates. This idea though may just be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They want to connect with your car to give them the option to put your package in your trunk. Um, but I'm not home. That means my car is with me. Are you planning on delivering my package to my office? If you are, why not bring inside to me?

Unless you have multiple vehicles sitting in your driveway at all times, this doesn't make sense! Wouldn't it just be easier to have the option to put in the garage? Perhaps, a lock box of some sort? Maybe a larger mail slot in your garage door? Not to mention, I don't have OnStar or anything to make this connection possible.

While I love Amazon and appreciate their efforts to defeat the porch pirates, I just don't understand how this made it past the "idea" floor.
