Stewartville Man Killed, Wife Hurt in Racine Wreck

Rochester, MN(KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man was killed and his wife was seriously injured Sunday morning in a traffic wreck in Racine.  

The Minnesota State Patrol says 42-year-old Donald Jordan was driving a Harley south on Highway 63 around 9 a.m. Sunday when he collided with a minivan. The van was eastbound on Mower County Road 1 and crossing the highway at the time of the collision.  Jordan’s 46-year-old wife Serena was airlifted to St Marys Hospital with serious injuries.  

The State Patrol identified the driver of the van as 49-year-old Marlys Sivesind of Grand Meadow. She was taken to St. Marys for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Her 52-year-old husband Dennis was not injured.
