The fatality occurred just before 6 o'clock Saturday morning on a highway in northwestern Minnesota. The State Patrol says a 56-year-old Monticello man suffered life-threatening injuries shortly before 12:30 Saturday afternoon when the SUV he was driving drifted into the ditch and rolled multiple times along eastbound I-94 in Wright County. The crash site was between Monticello and St. Cloud near Clearwater. Michael Scott was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities.

A Minneapolis man was critically injured around the same time in a rollover crash in western Minnesota.
