Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester teenager crashed a car into a house early Saturday.

Police say the 17-year-old had driven into an unfamiliar cul-de-sac in the 4600 block of Arctic Lane NW around 4:00 AM and reported having trouble with his steering wheel. He then crashed into a house and a playhouse in the rear yard of another home.

Police learned two other teens were riding in the car at the time of the wreck and had fled on foot. One was later taken to the hospital to be checked for a head injury.

A police spokesman says the owners of the house the teen crashed into were not aware it had been hit until officers woke them up.
