Rochester Man Wins Big State Lottery Prize

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has won a big cash prize playing a state lottery game.

The Minnesota State Lottery says Jeffrey Cox won $100,000 playing the scratch game Minnesnowta Cash.

Meanwhile, a Gopher 5 ticket sold in Winona for the Dec. 27th drawing has yet to be turned in. The ticket won a prize worth $140,000.

A huge jackpot is up for grabs Saturday night. The Powerball grand prize is currently at $321,000,000 ($218,700,000 cash). The jackpot was last won Nov. 2nd when a $150-million grand prize was claimed by one winner.
