The first fire crews to arrive at the scene found a fully involved garage fire with the residents safely outside. After knocking down the flames consuming the garage with water, firefighters entered the home and were successful in preventing the fire from spreading into the house, although it did sustain minor damage from the fire, smoke, and water. The garage was a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
