There are so many moments and memories when it comes to Twins Baseball. Twins fans had a chance to see the Twins win two World Series titles, once in 1987 and once in 1991. The "dome-field' advantage was true in both of those series, as the Twins never lost at home.

Homer Hankys were born and memories made as Twins fans were able to enjoy one of the most unpredictable World Series runs of all time as the Twins topped the Tigers in the ALCS in 1987 when nobody gave them a chance. Then they defeated perennial powerhouse St. Lous in the World Series to claim their first-ever championship.

Fans also saw two of the greatest individual performances in World Series history. Kirby Puckett put the team on his back in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series with a walk-off blast to force a Game 7. Jack Morris took it from there with one of the best pitching performances ever seen to help the Twins claim their second title in five years.

Game 163 in 2009 was one that the younger generation of Twins fans will also remember as Carlos Gomez slid home face-first as the Twins claimed the 2009 AL Central title over the mighty Detriot Tigers.
