Preston Businesses Receive Facelifts
I love working in downtown Preston. From my office window I see folks going into Preston Floral and Gifts to purchase a bouquet for their someone special. All day there are ambitious people exercising at Fit Express. Later in the afternoon I see friends gathering after work at Preston Servicemen's Club. A typical day! Recently I've been watching businesses sprucing up, painting, getting new signs, even moving! Teri Klaehn's office has received a nice new store front. A new sign for Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home. I love the gorgeous big flower pots in front of Preston Foods. Nice little flower pots in front of KFIL, too! Root River Appliances has moved into their new location, the former Chic's Pizza. The building housing Sally's Hair to Dye For is looking pretty spiffy - oops - forgot to snap a photo. There are two new trees at Goose Flat Park to replace those lost during windstorms. The Fillmore County Journal even has a new newspaper box by F&M Bank. Preston is really looking good these days! Take a drive or walk and check it out. Better yet, check out my photos. All photos IEdwards, TSM
