The pandemic closed a lot of Rochester and area restaurants. Some for good, and some temporarily. Good news today, one of Rochester's most popular eateries, Cameo, has set a reopening date.

In a conversation with owner, Zach Ohly, we talked about his new venture at the Rochester Athletic Club, Relish.

...it will have a large grab-n-go selection for those working out at the RAC and the general public...

He said he was super busy with Relish and Cameo re-opening and I was all, "Wait, what? Cameo comin' back? Y'can't just slip that kinda thing in there." and he said, "Yep!"

"Cameo is re-opening March 18th with a refresh of the brand. New menu, drink list, some familiar faces, and some major Rochester Rockstar's are coming on board, too."

A quick check of their Facebook page gives you an example of a new menu item.

As I'm writing this, I'm thinking about a rainy Minnesota June evening when there was live music as you picked up food...

It's exciting to hear about businesses in Rochester re-opening. Especially places to eat. If we keep up with the vaccinations like we have, we could all be eating out!

St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The number of Minnesotans who have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine has topped 900,000.

That is almost 16 percent of the state's population. 467,300 people in the state are all fully vaccinated against the viral illness and about 50 percent of Minnesotans 65 years and older are at least partially vaccinated. In Olmsted County, almost 28 percent of the population has received at least one dose of the vaccine. That equates to over 43,000 people and over 31,300 have had both vaccine doses.
