Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo have had their share of bad luck this summer with back to back floods! They were closed for a while because of all of the damage. Luckily volunteers stepped up and helped clean up. They're officially re-open and they'll be celebrating their 50th birthday next Saturday!

The birthday bash is happening Saturday, August 10th from 10 AM until 5 PM. They say on their Facebook event that there's going to be "Naturalist led programs, activities, music, bounce house, food, raffle drawings, and lots of fun!"

There's also a brief itinerary on the Facebook event:

10 AM - Feed the Bear

11 AM - Naturalist Led Hike

1 PM - Feed the Otters

2 PM - History Program and Birthday Cake

3 PM - Wildcats Program

4 PM - Feed the Raptors

It sounds like a super fun-filled day with some great things for kids and adults to check out!
