St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minnesota's COVID-19 vaccination program has hit a milestone.

The state health department website shows the number of doses of the vaccine administered in the state has topped 100,000. The tally currently stands at just over 104,000, but health officials say the actual number is likely higher because of delays in reporting.

The Minnesota Department of Health today reported an additional 48 coronavirus related deaths statewide. There were close to 2400 new cases reported throughout Minnesota including 51 new infections in Olmsted County.

The most recent testing total was almost 44,000 and the daily testing positivity rate was about 5.4 percent.
