The weather is finally warming up so let's make the most of the warm months we get in Minnesota! I wanted to share with you one of my favorite playgrounds from when I was a kid. And today I still think this is one of the most epic playgrounds in the state. It's up in Bloomington.

The park is huge with tons of slides, lots of places to climb, and it seems like at least half of the playground is made up of ropes to climb on. I'm probably not describing it well but I remember loving this place when I was a kid.

It's called Hyland Play Area in the Hyland Lake Park Reserve. I believe the first time I went here was for a school field trip. I couldn't tell you why we went there but we had lots of fun, that's for sure.

I've been checking their website for the past few weeks now to see when they opened. For a while, it said they were closed until I checked this week and it says "Open: 9 AM to sunset, daily". Yay! Time to plan your trip to Bloomington!

There's also a concession stand and restrooms so you and your family can hang out there for a while. You could pack a picnic lunch too and spend an afternoon there.
