Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Olmsted County is reporting its first COVID-19 death in more than a month.

Three men died last weekend after contracting the virus.

The last time a Covid death was reported in the county before that was Oct 18th.

One of the patients died Saturday, the other two on Sunday. Two were in their 60s, the other was in his 70s and all three died in a hospital.

As of Wednesday, Olmsted County had reported a total of 34 Covid deaths. The most recent was reported Tuesday. The victims range in age from 29 to 94-years-old.

Olmsted County’s total of positive cases has grown to nearly 6300.

As of Wednesday, the number of active cases was listed at 769
