MnDOT Has Prescribed Burn In Fillmore County

Motorists were subject to see a prescribed burn while traveling in Fillmore County Friday.

According to MnDOT's District 6 Twitter page, There was a controlled burn in Fillmore County, just east of Canton near Highway 52 and the Iowa border.

The photos from MnDOT's twitter post were very cool to see, as you got to see firefighters in action, as well as the burn take place. No something you see every day.

Always kudos to MnDOT for alerting motorist of the possible distraction that can occur on the roadway. The number one priority is always safety, and those traveling near the burn need to pay attention to the roadways.
